The overall sturdy design ensures stability, torsional rigidity and extremely high table load options. Major components are manufactured from heavily ribbed and reinforced Meehanite cast iron. The ballscrews are pre-loaded and pretensioned and the table runs on roller style linear guides to ensure maximum rigidity whilst ensuring precision positioning and accuracy due to the low friction. The vertical axis is hydraulically counter balanced for long term precision and smoothness.
